Last week, Team ATC had the opportunity to attend one of the biggest off-road gatherings in the country—UTV Takeover in Coos Bay, Oregon. Held at the legendary Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, this annual event brings together thousands of UTV enthusiasts, industry leaders, vendors, racers, and families for an unforgettable week of riding, competition, and community. UTV Takeover is widely recognized as one of the premier side-by-side events on the West Coast, featuring over 30 activities, organized rides, vendor exhibits, and action-packed competitions.
For Team ATC, the trip was everything we hoped it would be and then some.
A World-Class Off-Road Destination
If you've never experienced the Oregon Dunes, it's hard to describe just how impressive they are. Stretching for miles along the Oregon coast, the dunes provide a unique riding environment that combines massive sand bowls, technical terrain, scenic coastal views, and endless opportunities for adventure. Coos Bay offers some of the most accessible and rider-friendly dune terrain in the country, making it a bucket-list destination for UTV owners.
From the moment Team ATC unloaded our machines, we knew we were in for an incredible week.
More Than Just Riding
What makes UTV Takeover special isn't just the riding—it's the atmosphere. Throughout the event, attendees participated in group rides, drag races, hill climbs, Wheeliefest, Huckfest, show-and-shine competitions, vendor demonstrations, poker runs, and countless community activities. The event is designed to bring together the entire off-road community, whether you're a seasoned dune rider or attending your first major UTV event.
Team ATC spent time at our booth on Vendor Row, connecting with fellow enthusiasts, checking out the latest innovations in the side-by-side industry, and talking with riders from across the country. One of the best parts of any UTV event is the people, and Coos Bay delivered. Everywhere we went, we met passionate riders eager to share stories, compare builds, and talk about their next adventure.
Showcasing the ATC Lifestyle
As always, Team ATC was proud to represent the All Terrain Concepts brand and the off-road lifestyle we live every day. Events like UTV Takeover give us the chance to see firsthand how riders are using their machines, what upgrades they're looking for, and how the industry continues to evolve.
Whether discussing lighting setups, UTV accessories, custom fabrication, recovery gear, or vehicle builds, the conversations throughout the week reinforced why we love being part of this community.
The off-road industry continues to grow, and it's exciting to see more families, new riders, and experienced enthusiasts coming together to enjoy everything the sport has to offer.
The Energy Was Incredible
One thing that stood out all week was the energy. From sunrise rides across the dunes to evening activities and community gatherings, there was always something happening. The combination of world-class terrain, great weather, and thousands of passionate off-roaders created an atmosphere that's difficult to match.
Events like Huckfest, Wheeliefest, drag racing, and organized group rides drew huge crowds and showcased some of the most impressive UTV builds and driving skills in the industry.
For Team ATC, it was a reminder of why we invest so much into the off-road community. The friendships, experiences, and shared passion for adventure are what make these events truly special.
Thank You, Coos Bay
We want to thank the organizers, sponsors, vendors, and attendees who helped make UTV Takeover Coos Bay such an incredible experience. The event continues to set the standard for UTV gatherings across the country, and it's easy to see why riders travel from all over the United States to attend each year.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, share stories, and support Team ATC throughout the week.
We're already looking forward to the next adventure.
